Johanna believes to find happiness and security in her family life with her husband and daughter. But facing her unfulfilled desire disturbs Johanna’s serenity.

SYNOPSIS

Due to the death of her father, Johanna returns after 6 years of absence to her native village in the Swedish forest. It’s when she meets her early love Elis again, she suddenly irrevocably gets thrown off her balance. Until then, she nearly had managed to forget about him, but now she gets reminded of the unfortunate love that once bonded them together. Suddenly, all Johanna has always wanted seems to be possible.

With soft caution and utter awareness I want to approach the inner conflict that lies within all of us driven by the beauty of the human soul, the emotional depths and the proximate diremption. I have just the same demands on „From the spirit, that I called". The movie is meant to tell a story of love and responsibility that is asking for truth, lie and consciousness. It shows the inability to be truthful and honest with ourselves while longing for the feeling of rationality, security and desire.”
